Booking & Cancellation Policy

Payments
The full booking fee is payable to secure the booking. Once your fee has been received, we will email and confirm your booking. ​​​​​​​VAT is included in the quoted price for your holiday at the rate applicable at the time of printing.  Our confirmation of booking is not a VAT invoice.

All bookings should be considered provisional until confirmed by us via email.

In confirming your reservation, you agree to abide by the campsite rules at all times during your stay.

COVID-19
In confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that the measures implemented by Battle Pods & Bells to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 place personal responsibility on you for adhering to the requirements including, but not limited to, those relating to social distancing, social gatherings in accordance with the rule of six, personal hygiene, the wearing of face coverings, NHS track and trace requirements, testing and reporting health issues in accordance with government guidelines. You also agree to adhere to any lockdown rules which apply at the time of your visit. You accept that these provisions are required to protect the health and wellbeing of you, your family, fellow guests and staff at Battle Pods & Bells. You understand that failure to comply with any of these requirements is a serious matter and may result in your being requested to leave the site. Should government rules or any other extreme circumstance require, you may be required to leave your accommodation immediately, for example in the case of a lockdown.

 

Holiday cancellation

You should notify us immediately by telephone should you consider it necessary to cancel your holiday and this should be followed by written confirmation of the cancellation. Refunds will be entirely at our discretion.

 

Should you breach of site rules, behave in a way deemed by us to put yourself or others at risk, or otherwise cause distress or nuisance, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the site with no refund of your fee.

We cannot give refunds or move bookings because of poor weather. We are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Including (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
