We wanted guests to feel like they were genuinely escaping - not compromising.

So while there's no electricity in the pods or tents, everything else has been thought through carefully. You'll sleep well, shower properly, and wake up to something most people have forgotten exists: proper quiet.

What we provide

Hot Showers

Solar-powered and genuinely hot. Private, clean, and everything a shower should be.

Eco Loos

Clean, well-maintained and kinder to the land. Guests are always surprised by how nice they are.

Bed & Bedding

Quality mattresses and proper bedding in every pod and bell tent. You'll sleep better than you expect.

Solar Lighting

Soft, warm lighting throughout the communal areas. We'd still recommend bringing a torch for the walk back at night.

Fire Pit & Logs

Fire pits available to hire and logs to purchase. The best part of any evening here.

Breakfast

Order the night before and we'll have breakfast ready for you in the morning (at an additional charge). A lovely way to start the day.

Parking

To preserve the peace and quiet of the site, our car park sits about 100m from the accommodation. Wheelbarrows are provided to transfer your belongings. Please get in touch in advance if you have any accessibility requirements and I'll make sure everything is sorted.

"This was an awesome place to get away for a few days. Location was great, only a 10 or so min walk from Battle station, and about 20 mins from the town. The bell tents are lovely and large, letting in lots of light if you want to chill out during the day. Situated in a large field, but super close to the woods where you for can wander for hours. The fire pits were a fab touch, and it was so relaxing to sit and stare at it in the evening. And obviously cooking a meat free burger on it was lush too. The toilets and showers are actually much nicer than expected. Hosts were very friendly and we even got to say hello to their cute pups, Apple and Mable'
